About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Network Delivery Manager to join our team at our York Rail Operating Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals to deliver high-quality rail services and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the rail network.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in railway operations, including command and control, strategic decision-making, and team leadership. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality rail services
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the rail network
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve rail services and reduce environmental impact
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Manage and mitigate risks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the rail network
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in railway operations, including command and control and strategic decision-making
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
