Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Head of Department for Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of Department in overseeing and enhancing the curriculum for Study Programmes, Apprenticeships, and Adult courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing day-to-day support to the Multi-Skills Trowel Trades teams.
  • Assisting with timetabling of courses across the Department with a student-centred approach.
  • Developing and implementing a teaching support cover rota for the Department.
  • Supporting the development and embedding of a collaborative approach to planning, preparation, and adaptation of resources to ensure that all students reach their full potential in every learning environment.
  • Embedding English & Maths throughout the curriculum and at the centre of all study programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a proven track record of success in curriculum development and team management.
