Job Title: Health and Safety Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Consultant to join our team in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to ensure high standards of safety compliance across our engineering projects. The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Providing guidance and training to employees on safety best practices and legal requirements.
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of safety audits, incidents, and training activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a health and safety related role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of safety and risk management.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems, procedural technical and HSE compliance.
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to build/maintain relationships at all levels.
