Job Summary:

We are seeking a commercially savvy Global IT Sourcing and Procurement specialist to join our team at Management grade and progress towards Procurement Directorship within a short time period. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a crucial role in driving towards best-in-class spend efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Building strong relationships with Executive stakeholders across IT and Finance communities, leveraging our recent successes to position procurement in the driving seat for high-profile projects
  • Autonomously managing complex cross-border IT & Technology procurement deals across various categories
  • Collaborating with the Global IT Procurement Director to create a personally tailored development plan to help you succeed
  • Mentoring and coaching less experienced IT Procurement Specialists, demonstrating best-in-class practices and instilling a high performance culture
  • Eligibility for international secondment or permanent placement across Europe, USA, Asia, and Australasia

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IT Category management
  • A CV that clearly demonstrates impressive procurement achievements, such as cost savings delivered, risk mitigated, and strategic supplier relationships established
  • An impressive track record within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Category Management, preferably within a Global Blue Chip setting
  • Degree and MCIPS (preferred though not essential)
