About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Programme Support Manager to join our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Team at Southampton City Council.

About You:

  • Oversee the planning and delivery of all M&E activities, working closely with the Planning Team.
  • Support the Line Manager of a team of Programme Support Officers, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Investigate complaints from Councillors, MPs, and Ombudsman, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Work with M&E Trade Managers and other Managers to deliver planned and reactive work, ensuring compliance and progress.
  • Produce compliance-based progress data and reports, updating organisational databases.
  • Collaborate with finance and job costings to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Carry out site-based compliance inspections, reporting findings and recommendations.
