About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Programme Support Manager to join our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Team at Southampton City Council.

About You:

  • Oversee the planning and delivery of all M&E activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Line Manager of a team of Programme Support Officers, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
  • Investigate complaints from stakeholders, including Councillors, MPs, and the Ombudsman, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with M&E Trade Managers and other Managers within the service to ensure effective delivery of planned and reactive work.
  • Produce compliance-based progress data and reports, updating organisational databases as necessary.
  • Work with finance and job costings to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Conduct site-based compliance inspections and report findings accordingly.
