About the Position:

We seek an experienced Assistant Head Teacher to join our client school, focusing on SEMH support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in teaching and leading within a primary setting, particularly in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To work closely with the executive principal to ensure outstanding standards, aligning with ISS and Ofsted expectations.
  2. To manage and supervise the school and staff team effectively.
  3. To contribute to the development of strategies to promote positive behaviour, aligned with the school's policy.
  4. To establish positive working relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess qualified teacher status or a relevant degree-level qualification. Previous leadership experience within a challenging context, as well as a strong grasp of the primary national curriculum, is essential. Recent CPD and Safer Recruitment training are also required.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 - £70,000, depending on experience. Benefits include up to 15 weeks of holiday, a private healthcare package, and opportunities for performance-linked progression.
