Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Chef in menu development and implementation, ensuring innovative and high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations.
- Lead by example, motivating and guiding the chef team to deliver exceptional performance and maintain the highest standards of food safety and health and safety procedures.
- Oversee stock levels and make key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement effective training programs, ensuring the chef team is equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service and quality.
- Proven experience as a CDP, senior CDP, or Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant environment.
- Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
- Leaving Cert level education or above, with a relevant culinary qualification (NVQ or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
