Job Title: Technical Services Manager

Equans is seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Manager to join our team in Manchester at Tameside Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, offering a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures across stakeholder groups.
  • Manage a multidiscipline workforce, plan, prioritize, and resource projects.
  • Work with operational leads to ensure service delivery across the full range of services is continually improving.
  • Contribute to the financial performance of the contract, particularly around operational efficiency and subcontract procurement.
  • Update record drawings and Operations and Maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures for the effective planning, organization, control, monitoring, and review of services.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the healthcare environment, particularly in PFI projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Current AP Duties and management of AP Duties.
  • Experience of healthcare project management.
  • Understanding of HR-related items.
  • Experience of managing contractors within healthcare environments.
  • Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely.
  • Experience with Building Services and Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Strong customer focus with experience of delivering high standards of Customer Service.
  • Full driving license required.
  • Relevant HNC/D or equivalent experience in an appropriate field.
