Team Leader Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Supported Living team in London. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
About YouWe are looking for someone with recent experience of leading shifts, motivating colleagues, and coaching and mentoring at team level. You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and Positive Behavioural Support management and techniques.
You will need good IT skills and experience of maintaining records to be a success in this role. You will also need to hold a Level 2 diploma in Adult Social Care and be willing to undertake the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care within an agreed timescale as part of your development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage people and be a role model in all aspects of people leadership, especially performance.
- Work with the Service Manager/Deputy Service Manager to ensure that all regulatory and legislative requirements, internal standards, and local authority contractual standards are met.
- Coach and mentor new staff, supporting them to achieve their care certificate.
- Lead a culture of collaborative working to benefit the people we support to receive the highest standard of care, while working in partnership with families and other circles of support.
- Act as a role model and a custodian for our culture, making Hft a great place to work.
