About the Role

Fawkes & Reece South is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to lead the delivery of a large-scale industrial project in Tunbridge Wells. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site surveys, setting out, and quality control to ensure accurate and precise execution of the project
  • Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress
  • Monitor construction progress, identifying any deviations from the plans, and implement corrective measures
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and site staff
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer working on large-scale projects with deep earthworks
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior staff
  • Degree in Civil Engineering desirable
