Fawkes & Reece South is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead the delivery of a large-scale industrial project in the UK. As a key member of our collaborative multi-disciplined team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of this project.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all engineering activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Manage site surveys, setting out, and quality control to ensure accurate and precise execution of the project.
- Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress.
- Monitor construction progress, identifying any deviations from the plans, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer working on large-scale projects with deep earthworks.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
- Degree in Civil Engineering would be desirable.
