Reports to: Head of Engineering
Contract: Full time, 40 hours per week

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Security Systems Technician with strong interpersonal skills. You will effectively manage your responsibilities to provide high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, upgrade, and maintain CCTV and security systems for various clients.
- Execute installations on-site according to specifications.
- Conduct system reconfigurations and decommissions.
- Participate in training to stay updated on product knowledge.
- Adhere to Health & Safety Regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and third parties, taking ownership of user requests and escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Plan and perform scheduled maintenance checks and upgrades.
SKILLS (REQUIRED):
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar technical role.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Logical problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills via email, phone, and in person, working independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to complex concepts.
- Honest and discreet handling of confidential information.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Capability to work at height.
- Full UK driving license with no points or pending convictions.
SKILLS (DESIRABLE):
- Familiarity with Dahua/Ajax security systems and products.
- Experience in planning and installing networks.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
- Understanding of configuring network switches, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment.
- Experience in installing and configuring CCTV equipment.
- Good knowledge of different types of CCTV systems.
- Ability to plan and coordinate network or CCTV installations.
- Experience with alarm systems.
