About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Projects Manager to join our team at Stockport Homes Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering multiple projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the safe delivery of repairs, small works, planned maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, meeting profit margins.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the site team, clients, and stakeholders.
- Provide project directions, focus, and consistency across each project.
- Ensure that appropriate method statements and risk assessments are in place and all work is carried out in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
Requirements
- Proven experience within a Project Management role.
- A current CSCS Black card and NVQ 6 or equivalent in construction management.
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety in the construction industry.
- Experience of supervising a large number of trade and multi-trade operatives.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Social housing projects is essential.
- M&E experience would be desirable but not essential.
