AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Net Zero Consultant to join our Sustainable Development Group based in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering energy and carbon management services for major public and private sector clients, helping them meet their Net Zero targets and ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement net zero strategies and heat decarbonisation plans for clients across various sectors, including public, commercial, industrial, and education.
- Conduct energy audits of different building types to identify energy saving opportunities and develop robust scenario models to support energy and carbon management strategies.
- Support building services design colleagues in conducting options analyses and specifying energy-efficient and low-carbon buildings and technologies.
- Collaborate with district heating specialists to prepare techno-economic models and feasibility studies for low-carbon district heating.
- Support specialists in preparing renewable energy technology feasibility studies.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering or a related discipline, with building services and/or energy-related qualifications highly desirable.
- Professional experience in sustainability and/or energy consulting, management, green building consulting, or related experience in the consulting industry and/or private or public sector.
- Building performance analysis experience.
