An Ofsted-rated 'Good' SEN School in Leicester is seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team. If you have experience working across Early Years to Year 6, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

About the Role:

We provide a caring, safe, and stimulating environment where all children can access high-quality learning tailored to their individual needs. We cater to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, PMLD, MLD, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with special educational needs in the classroom.
  • Assist with the personal and academic development of children across Early Years to Year 6.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and LSAs to create a positive learning environment.
  • Help manage challenging behaviours in line with school policies.
  • Foster a caring and supportive atmosphere for all students.
  • Work across both KS1 and KS2 phases providing additional support where needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, PMLD, MLD, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, etc.).
  • Ability to support children with various learning needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
