Lead Finance Team at Belmont Green

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Director to lead our Finance team in financial reporting, forecasting, and statutory compliance for Belmont Green Finance Limited.

This key role involves leading the Financial Control team in preparing monthly management accounts, analysing performance and trends, and presenting financial papers to the Executive Committees and Board. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of annual statutory accounts, manage the external auditor relationship, and work with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to align forecasting and historical reporting.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including Executive Committees and the Board.
  • Oversee the Financial Control team in ensuring the integrity and quality of financial data and processes.
  • Manage accounting policies and procedures, including revenue recognition, hedge accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, and short-term cash flow forecasting.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Necessary Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in leading general ledger teams, with associated month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in a financial services environment.
  • Previous exposure to tax and Treasury operations.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Determination and flexibility in a pressured environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

We offer a comprehensive salary package of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits to support your career development and well-being.
