Job Summary:

Omega Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Manager to join our team. As a SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards within a large multinational automation company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment: Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessments for all activities with significant hazards and foreseeable risks.
  • Auditing, Monitoring, and Review: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental controls.
  • Management Systems & Accreditations: Support and maintain existing management systems in line with ISO standards and act as the site contact for relationships with accreditation bodies.
  • Fire / Emergency Planning: Develop procedures for preventing emergency situations and coordinate routine testing of emergency provisions.
  • Liaison with Enforcement Agencies: Act as the site point of contact for all communications with enforcement authorities and develop positive relationships.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Ensure prompt reporting of accidents, incidents, injuries, and near misses and coordinate investigations into reported events.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SHEQ management within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
