Job Title: SHEQ Manager
About the Role:
Omega is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessments for all activities with significant hazards and foreseeable risks.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on completing risk assessments and reviewing them as required.
- Oversee the completion of risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and environmental controls.
- Auditing, Monitoring, and Review:
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Collate and review findings and required corrective/preventive actions arising from audits and inspections.
- Fire / Emergency Planning:
- Develop and implement procedures for preventing emergency situations and ensuring compliance with fire and emergency regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SHEQ management and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
