Research Imaging Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Research Imaging Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the provision of clinical imaging services for research trials, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality imaging services to patients and research staff.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of clinical research imaging services, including coordinating imaging procedures and ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical trial sponsors, imaging reading centers, and research staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Train and certify imaging staff in new imaging protocols and techniques, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of imaging certifications, training dates, and equipment inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support trial feasibility and equipment information, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available for research trials.
- Collaborate with research staff to ensure that all imaging data is transmitted to reading centers within the required timeframe.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clinical trial sponsors, research unit staff, and reading centers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
