Support and Companionship Worker

Ayrshire Independent Living Network is seeking a dedicated Support and Companionship Worker to provide part-time support to an individual with Hypoxic Brain Injury. In this role, you will work closely with the individual to promote independence and dignity, while also providing emotional support and companionship.
The estimated salary for this position is £12.00 per hour. As a casual part-time role, hours will be flexible and as and when required. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and adhering to best practices in care provision.
Key responsibilities include providing personal care, supporting daily activities, and promoting independence. A background in manual handling, brain injury, and wheelchair safety would be beneficial, although training can be provided by the employer. Staff will also be expected to adhere to safe working practices, including PPE and Lateral Flow Testing Kits.
