About the Role: Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supporting Children with Autism Specialist. This role involves working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in mainstream primary schools based in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and assistance to help children with ASD reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with ASD, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff. Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, paid to scale and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support and assistance to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  2. Develop and implement personalized plans to meet the needs of children with ASD
  3. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  4. Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless delivery of support services


Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and its impact on children
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff
  • The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure
