Technical Support Leader for Johnson Controls

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Support Leader to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a pivotal link between our customers and engineering teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in technical support and troubleshooting, with exceptional customer service skills combined with process excellence. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent network troubleshooting skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison to bridge the gap between customers and engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain robust customer relationships, enhancing loyalty and advocating for their needs within the company.
- Listen to customer feedback, collaborate with internal teams to devise effective solutions, and foster a customer-centric culture.
- Debug software and assist development teams with identifying issues.
- Implement efficient processes and frameworks to drive high performance.
Requirements
- 6-7 years of experience in a support or engineering role with a strong track record of building customer relationships.
- Process-oriented mindset, with a focus on scaling efficiencies.
- Confident and personable, capable of navigating customer challenges.
- Organized and efficient, adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish technical credibility quickly.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Creative and proactive in overcoming challenges.
- Experience of debugging and writing software.
- Excellent network troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, encompassing technical and non-technical roles.
- Willingsness to travel up to 20% as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Certifications in software development.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
