This is an excellent opportunity for an IT infrastructure engineer to move into a public sector role which offers autonomy, varied and interesting work, brilliant benefits, and a great work-life balance.

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support, advice, and guidance to all users of MDDC, according to defined priorities and service level agreements. You will also diagnose hardware and software faults, liaising with external suppliers as necessary, implementing solutions to problems, and maintaining and creating all necessary documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and training guides.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical advice in liaison with external suppliers
  • To provide project management or project support for ICT-related projects
  • To maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, through research and training, and evaluate where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a strong IT infrastructure background
  • Microsoft 365, on-premis server windows server, SQL server, SCCM server, and SharePoint experience
  • Exposure to data analytics and power BI
