About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our East Midlands Construction business, you will play a crucial role in delivering our projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in creating a safe working environment and manage subcontract works packages.
  • Produce Subcontract documentation, including negotiation of terms and conditions, prices, and programme.
  • Manage change in a timely manner in accordance with the form of contract.
  • Liaise with operational and engineering staff to ensure site records are kept to the standard required.
  • Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation's (CVR) as required by the business unit or project.
  • Interpret and critically evaluate expenditure reports produced by internal cost systems.
  • Attend weekly progress and risk reduction meetings with the client and subcontractors.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a good appreciation of standard forms of contract, strong IT skills, and solid knowledge of construction processes. You should also have first-class time and outcome management skills.
