About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team at Steer Commercial, part of the Steer Automotive Group. As a Panel Beater, you will play a crucial role in restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition by repairing and replacing body components.
  • Assess the most effective methods for conducting repairs and utilise specialist body repair equipment to achieve the best results.
  • Adhere to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's repair standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to achieve site targets.
  • Ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail in all repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area, following health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience as a panel beater or multiskilled technician from an accident repair background. You should have strong technical skills and knowledge in panel beating techniques and equipment, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ideally, you will be ATA/NVQ qualified, and we're committed to supporting you in renewing these to further enhance your skills and expertise.
