Job Overview

M Restaurants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional guest service in a high-end kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of food quality.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent teamwork and communication.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure alignment with the restaurant's culinary vision.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and optimize food costs to ensure profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-end kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for innovation and creativity in menu development.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional food quality and presentation.
