Delivering Excellence in Store to Home Logistics

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our dynamic Store to Home team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for delivering products to customer premises on a multi-drop basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system
  • Operate in a two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on multi-drop basis
  • Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receives the correct products and delivery documentation

What We Offer:

  • An hourly rate of £14.01
  • An additional £5.50 per hour when working on Sunday
  • A potential to earn an additional £100 every 6 months via the attendance bonus scheme
  • Overtime pay of £21.02 per hour (when applicable, paid over 40hrs)

  • B&Q store discount upon successful completion of the probation period

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence with category C1 Entitlement
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal

Working Conditions:

This role will require flexibility as you will be working on a 4 week rota pattern (provided in advance) including weekends. You will be based in Edinburgh (EH15 3HS) and will be required to commute to this location for the required shift pattern.
