Summary

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Stir. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the preparation of high-quality meals using our fresh and sustainable ingredients.

Package

At Stir, we offer a competitive package that includes:

  • Monday to Friday working with no late nights
  • 22.5 hours working with no late nights
  • 38 working weeks per year based around term time
  • £13.15 per hour
  • A dedicated Learning and Development team to support you in developing your skills

We expect all staff to share our commitment of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/young people and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought by the company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Working as part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for students and staff
  • Operating Tills (full training provided)
  • Ensuring a clean kitchen environment at all times
  • Adhering to all safety guidelines including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policy
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for maintaining the highest standards of food and service for our customers along with the following:

  • A friendly and versatile personality, with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Previous catering experience
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred, but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate)
