Main Purpose:

This role is based at Osman House, a 16-bed unit in Scholes, Leeds, which provides rehabilitation to people with an acquired brain injury. It is a unique community where the people we support can address their cognitive, behavioural, physical, and emotional difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalised support to individuals with acquired brain injuries, following individual support plans to meet their needs and aspirations.
  • Develop independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, socialising, and personal care.
  • Organise and participate in various activities, both at Osman House and in the local Scholes community, such as art, crafts, music, sports, gardening, shopping, and swimming.
  • Contribute to the delivery of quality services, working as a member of the team and supporting colleagues and service users appropriately.
About You:

We're looking for individuals with genuine empathy for our residents, who possess the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through difficult times. You should enjoy teamwork, take pride in getting a job done well, and have excellent face-to-face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
