Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team at Workshop Recruitment. As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase ledgers and vendor accounts
  • Process invoices, credits, and payments in multiple currencies
  • Reconcile bank statements and company credit cards
  • Manage petty cash and process expenses, commissions, and pensions
  • Perform first-line payroll administration, including checking overtime and ensuring accurate payments
  • Maintain records, filing, and other documentation
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the Finance team

Requirements:

  • Previous finance and accounts administration experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and accuracy
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure and use initiative

Working Hours:

Some flexibility can be given for reduced hours, with a minimum of 30-37.5 days per week required.

Salary:

GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Salary will be pro rata for reduced hours.
