About the Role

We are recruiting Archaeologists at all levels to work on various projects across the UK. Immediate start available.

Job Overview

This role involves working on a variety of projects, including fieldwork, post-excavation tasks, and research. The successful candidate will have experience in archaeological fieldwork, post-excavation analysis, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct fieldwork, including watching briefs, evaluation trenching, excavation, fieldwalking, sieving, sampling, and metal detecting.
  2. Record and document findings, including context sheets, photography, drawings, survey, and other relevant information.
  3. Participate in post-excavation analysis and contribute to research projects.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A sound knowledge of UK archaeology.
  • Experience in taking part in field projects and contributing to post-excavation work.
  • Competence in the use of CAD software commensurate with the position.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
