Job Overview

Archaeological Research Services Ltd is seeking skilled professionals to work on various projects across the UK. As a field archaeologist, you will be responsible for undertaking and delivering projects under the guidance of your line manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork, including watching briefs, evaluation trenching, excavation, and related activities.
  • Record and document findings using context sheets, photography, drawings, survey, and other methods.
  • Participate in post-excavation work as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree in Archaeology or related field.
  • Experience in field projects and post-excavation work.
  • Sound knowledge of UK archaeology and ability to write clear English.
  • Competency in CAD and other relevant software.
