Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts and motivate the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Personally handle and resolve complex cases, liaising with other departments to find commercially sensible solutions.
  • Report on team and individual performance to management, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and coach team members to develop their performance.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to reduce customer debt.
  • Efficiently deal with inbound communication and overcome challenging conversations with customers.
  • Manage customers through the collections process, calling, issuing letters, and emails in line with procedures.
  • Deal with vulnerable customers using TEXAS and CARERS models.
  • Proactively resolve customer problems.
Requirements:
  • Experience in collection, sales, and customer service techniques, with the ability to overcome objections.
  • Self-motivated and confident communicator, with the ability to be a role model for the team.
  • Results-driven individual who enjoys working to and achieving targets.
  • Energetic individual with an infectious enthusiasm.
  • Good computer and data skills.
  • Litigations experience preferred.
