We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team in Canterbury. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating the impact of health conditions on daily living and work activities, contributing to the fair and accurate distribution of disability benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of claimants' health conditions and daily challenges to assess their impact on their life.
- Review medical evidence, including GP reports and specialist opinions, to develop a well-rounded understanding of each claimant's health.
- Prepare objective reports that meet DWP guidelines and support the decision-making process for disability benefits.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a relevant field (Registered Adult Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist).
- Active registration with the NMC (for Nurses) or HCPC (for Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists).
- Strong communication, proficient typing, and excellent IT skills.
- Wellbeing and Engagement Champions.
