About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at The Newt in Somerset. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting our Sous and Head Chefs in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Support the Sous and Head Chefs in leading the junior team members, promoting a positive and inclusive kitchen environment.
- Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, working closely with the culinary team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients, supporting our farm-to-fork philosophy.

Our Staff Accommodation
