**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Education Senior Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all recruitment processes are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and that all candidates are thoroughly vetted and cleared before being placed in schools.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough background checks on all candidates, including DBS checks, teacher checks, proof of address checks, and references

• Liaise with consultants and schools to discuss candidate compliance and ensure that all necessary checks are completed

• Maintain accurate records of all candidate checks and compliance

• Develop and implement effective compliance procedures to ensure that all recruitment processes are compliant with relevant laws and regulations

• Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure that all candidates are thoroughly vetted and cleared before being placed in schools

• Provide training and support to the recruitment team on compliance procedures and best practices

**Requirements:

• Proven experience in compliance or a related field

• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the Education Act and the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
