Assistant Shop Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at Wenzel's The Bakers. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Shop Manager in leading, training, and developing our team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Shop Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising staff, controlling costs, and driving sales.
- Develop and lead the shop team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Assist with training and development of staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of the store's business plan and implement strategies to achieve sales and customer service targets.

Requirements:
- Experience in a retail or food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
