About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the site
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery
- Empty bins, dust and sanitise surfaces, and perform other cleaning tasks as required
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve site maintenance goals
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure smooth site operations
About You
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be required to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery, and will be provided with full training and support.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.44
- 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service
