Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Empty bins, dust surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, as you will be managed remotely.
What We Offer
As a Cleaning Operative with Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £11.44, plus benefits including 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, and Defined Contribution pension scheme.
Working Hours
This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week, Monday – Saturday, from 09:00am to 11:30am. You will be working from our Caerphilly Delivery Office, Unit 16-17 Trecenydd Business Park, Caerphilly CF83 2XX.
What's Next?
After you apply, your application will be reviewed, and if you are successful, you will be invited to a telephone assessment. This call will last around 15-20 minutes, consisting of 7 questions. There will not be a face-to-face interview in this process.
