**Higher Level Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Sunderland**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Sunderland.

Key Details:

  • Salary: £23,000 - £25,500 per annum, based on experience and responsibilities (approx. £450-£500 per week).
  • Full-time: Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers by:

  • Delivering lessons and covering classes across various subjects when needed.
  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students requiring additional help.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and resource preparation, working closely with teachers to ensure students' learning needs are met.
  • Monitoring and assessing students' progress, offering constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to support their development.
  • Helping to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs and collaborating with the SEN department to provide tailored support when necessary.
  • Leading intervention sessions or extra-curricular activities to support students in achieving their learning goals.
