Electrical Installation Educator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Educator to join our team at Colchester Institute. As an Electrical Installation Educator, you will be responsible for providing inspirational teaching on a range of electrical installation subjects to students on potentially Level 1-3 full time, apprenticeships and full cost courses.

About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students on electrical installation courses
  • Undertake onsite assessments and make competency-based judgements
  • Manage student groups and programmes
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials and assessments
  • Contribute to the development of the electrical installation department

About You

  • You will hold a Level 3 electrical installation qualification (or equivalent) including an NVQ and AM2
  • Experience of delivering and managing student groups/programmes is essential
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You will be able to work effectively in a team environment
