Merchandising Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Specialist to join our team at SPAR. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for implementing merchandising strategies and planograms with independent retailers across the South-West region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement merchandising plans to drive sales and profitability with our retail partners
• Collaborate with our sales team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Provide excellent customer service and support to our retail partners
• Conduct market research and analysis to inform merchandising decisions
• Travel extensively throughout the region to meet with retail partners and implement merchandising plans

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail sales or merchandising
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
