Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Specialist to join our team at SPAR. As a key member of our retail expansion team, you will be responsible for implementing merchandising strategies and planograms with independent retailers across the South-West region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement merchandising plans to drive sales and profitability with our retail partners
• Collaborate with our sales team to identify opportunities for growth and expansion
• Provide training and support to our retail partners to ensure effective implementation of merchandising strategies
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide feedback
• Work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field
• Strong knowledge of the convenience sector and sales strategies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the South-West region
