About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Developer to join our team at Candour Solutions. As a Data Warehouse Developer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data warehouse solutions using SQL Server 2019.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and maintain data warehouse solutions.
  • Work closely with data modellers and data analysts to implement and produce data models.
  • Design and implement automated pipelines to support data solutions across BI and analytics use cases.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple data sources.
  • Develop and maintain ETL solutions using SQL Server, including SSIS and T-SQL.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL Server technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server data warehouse or data provisioning architectures.
  • Advanced SQL query writing and SQL procedure experience.
  • Experience developing ETL solutions in SQL Server, including SSIS and T-SQL.
  • Experience in Microsoft BI technologies, including SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and VBA.
  • Exposure to DW development practices, including code and configuration management, build processes.
  • Appreciation of design patterns and practices that apply to the data warehouse space.
  • Exposure to BI reporting toolsets.
  • Understanding of Agile principles.
