Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team in the Newport/Cardiff area. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing fire and security systems, including Intruder Alarms, Access Systems, CCTV, and Fire Alarm Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
- Service fire and security devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of materials.
- Manage time efficiently, prioritizing jobs correctly and completing engineer work reports, handover certificates, and BSIA certificates as required.
Requirements
- Experience in the fire and security industry.
- Valid driving license.
- Ability to lift and climb ladders.
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold current relevant qualifications, such as 18th edition, NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, or FIA.
