Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide project field engineering expertise with work planning and execution, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement work plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage material procurement and inventory to ensure availability of necessary resources.
  • Verify quantities of materials and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure safety and quality control measures are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area.
  • Review and approve inspection test plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate reviews of subcontractor submittals to ensure quality and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical knowledge of all phases of welding technology relating to a single or multiple area.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction activities as they relate to engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Experience in inspection and certifying welding installation by contractors.
  • Knowledge of different types of welding and Non-destructive testing.
  • Experience in Brown Field works & pre-assemblies.
