As a Social Worker - Child Protection with North East Ambition, you will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable children and families in County Durham. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting families, keeping children safe, and enabling them to thrive.
The role is rewarding and varied, with opportunities to work on single assessments, child protection cases, and public law proceedings. You will also have the chance to develop your skills in signs of safety practice and build strong relationships with families.
We offer a competitive salary of £33,472 per annum, rising to £40,257 after five years' service, as well as 27 days' holiday per year, which increases to 32 days after five years. You will also benefit from flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working, and a range of training and development opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification, along with current registration with Social Work England.
