About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Engineer to join our team at Impact Handling. As a Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our material handling equipment, providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults with machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Work independently on customer sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal colleagues to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements
  • Technical background in Materials Handling or a related field
  • Previous experience and qualifications in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
