We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parish Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer (RFO). As the first point of contact for the public, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the council, managing finances, and maintaining accurate records. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including budgeting and forecasting.
  2. Provide administrative support to the council, including responding to inquiries and correspondence.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local government policies and procedures.
  4. Develop and implement effective plans to achieve strategic objectives.

The annual salary for this position is approximately £13,016, based on a 12-hour workweek. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a PC laptop, expenses for additional equipment, and flexible working arrangements.
